Enterprise Archiving Company Names New Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Announces Promotion of Human Resources Executive
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — July 8, 2008 — Permabit Technology Corporation, the provider of
scalable, data reduced storage for enterprise archiving, today announced the appointment
of Ed Reilly as vice president of worldwide sales and the promotion of Katherine Edwards
to vice president of human resources. Reilly has held executive and managerial positions
with Altiris (acquired by Symantec in 2007), Peregrine Systems, Siebel Systems and Oracle. He will be responsible for driving Permabit's sales operations and execution. Edwards has
worked at Permabit for over three years and prior to joining Permabit, worked as a member
of the human resources team in the Boston office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. At Permabit,
she will expand her role designing and managing human resources initiatives that exploit
and support business growth.

With more than 20 years of experience, Reilly has driven sales growth at leading technology
companies with more than $1 billion revenue in areas such as infrastructure management, CRM,
ERP, and service management. Before joining Permabit, Reilly served as general manager for
Altiris' EMEA operations. He was also vice president of EMEA sales of the Altiris business
unit of Symantec. Prior to joining Altiris, Reilly was vice president of sales
for Peregrine Systems, where he was responsible for eastern area sales for the United States. His areas of expertise include sales, sales management, business development, IT operations
and finance.
Edwards is a senior human resources professional with more than 15 years experience providing
expertise in the areas of recruitment, organizational development, benefits and compensation,
and training in organizations ranging from startups to large worldwide organizations. She
has played a key role in the human resources functions with companies and clients in both
the public and private sectors with a focus on high tech, biotechnology and professional
services entities.
